Rich Williams wakes up Leeds on Radio Aire Breakfast.

Born and bred in the city, Rich his radio career at Radio Aire, albeit not actually on the radio! Whilst at Leeds University, Rich grabbed a place on the Radio Aire Street Team and after finishing his degree was offered a job as traffic and travel reporter on The Simon Logan Breakfast Show.

Two years of patrolling the skies from Radio Aire’s very own helicopter was enough for Rich so he joined the breakfast team in the studios. Eventually he was given a shot at Radio Aire’s Home Run and now presenters Radio Aire Breakfast with Naomi Kent.

Rich is passionate about all things Leeds. From Leeds United and the Rhinos, strolling through Roundhay Park, watching the cricket at Headingley or just going for a drink in The Electric Press in town. He is a regular contributor to On:Yorkshire Magazine and also JLife Magazine in North Leeds and as well as being on the radio can be found hosting major events across the city.
