Kelly, Ant & Michael for Breakfast Biography

Kelly, Ant & Michael for Breakfast Biography

Kelly Pegg is the filter-free wife…with her fingers constantly crossed that her husband is too preoccupied with their daughter Ava-Lilly to listen to the show, you’ll always catch Kelly’s blunt honesty !

Ant Arthur is best described as ‘cheeky’ Ant should PROBABLY think a LITTLE bit more before he speaks…especially when the topic of conversation is relationships and his girlfriend…nobody on this show can actually work out how his hot girlfriend is STILL with him…!!!

Michael Blades is the ‘Captain Sensible’ of the show, keeping Kelly and Ant in line…(trying to at least) he’s the voice of reason and is basically a nice guy!

Something you’d never tell your partner:

There’s nothing I wouldn’t tell my husband rather stupidly I’m just too honest. It can cause the odd row or several!

Something you’d never tell your parents:

I don’t think I have ever, or ever will talk about the bird and the bees with my Nana Jean. Ever since I was a teenager she told me she only kissed my Grandad once to make my mum.

She will talk about anything apart from ‘that kind of stuff’.

Something you’d never tell a first date:

How many children I want (it’s 3 but I think that stuff can scare men off!)

Hall Pass and why:

Game Of Thrones Actor Richard Madden. I fell in love watching him in Lady Chatterley’s Lover…..he was all gruff and manly with great facial hair.

3 celebs you’d invite for dinner & why:

Morrissey – I love The Smiths. Their music reminds me of falling in love with my husband Chris.

I’d cook vegetarian food of course and ask him all about his songs, what inspired him to write them and I’d get him to give me a boxing lesson – he’s great at it apparently.

Madonna –I adore her and think she’s amazing. I have a gold disc of hers (a gift from my hubby) hanging in my house. She is the queen of reinvention and her body is just incredible. I’d chew her ear off all night about Sean Penn (love him) and her tips on staying youthful.

My Grandad Geoff – A hero more than a celebrity - He brought me up and was a Dad to me. We lost him far too early – he was only in his early 60’s and I was 15. At the time I was a horrible teenager and I regret more than anything not saying thank you and telling him I loved him more than anything in the world.

I’d give anything to spend more time with him, and have him meet my husband and daughter; I know he’d love them.

Most embarrassing moment:

Discussing my ‘massive lips’ with my boss, whilst on the phone. I’d had some pictures taken and the colour filter used on them made them look even bigger than normal (they’re not small and no I don’t use Botox!). He had to call me to explain why they couldn’t use them. I was mortified.

Favourite place to eat in Leeds:

Where do you start?! Leeds has something for everyone. I love Browns at the Light – gorgeous food and cocktails with great service.

Favourite place to drink in Leeds:

Angelica at the top of Trinity has incredible views of the city and lovely staff. I love sitting out on the terrace with one of their amazing cocktails.

Favourite place to shop in Leeds:

I love the high street for shopping. Pink lounge wear is so comfy and I have to stay away from Super Dry because I spend a fortune.

For anything really special I head to Harvey Nics – the girls are brilliant there. If you need help with make-up, hair, anything then it’s the place to go. I’ve just discovered they offer blow dry’s on dry hair – it’s made my year!

Something you’d never tell your partner:

If I put it on the website she might see it so best not...

Something you’d never tell your parents:

When I was younger I used to throw parties at their house when they went on holiday... even now I think they'd still be cross.

Something you’d never tell a first date:

"I cry at Disney films."

Hall Pass and why:

Scarlett Johansson. It's her lips!!

3 celebs you’d invite for dinner & why:

Khloé, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian... then I'd poison the food.

Favourite place to eat in Leeds:

Reds BBQ! I'm a meat eating machine.

Favourite place to drink in Leeds:

There's a tiny bar in Chapel Allerton called North Bar. Great atmosphere and amazing beer!

White Rose probably. I like the free parking!

Full name:

Lord Michael Blades

Something you’d never tell your partner:

I hate some of her outfit choices. She wears a coat / cape thing loads that is bogey green and horrible. I pretend I like it.

Something you’d never tell your parents:

If they had any idea how much money I waste on pointless gadgets they would definitely disown me. Sorry Mum.

Something you’d never tell a first date:

I once auditioned (unsuccessfully) to be in the S Club Juniors. Don’t think that would get them hot under the collar.

Hall Pass and why:

Rachel Riley – She’s hot, loves gadgets and could calculate my change for me.

3 celebs you’d invite for dinner & why:

Stephen Fry – I bet he’d be fascinating to chat to

Dynamo – I wanna see his tricks for real. And look up his sleeves.

Oh, and Rachel Riley (See above).

Most embarrassing moment:

Aged about 15 I was in a massive swimming competition with a large crowd. The gun fired, I dived in and the impact with the water made my swimming trunks come right off. They got lost in the pool and I had to abandon the race to find them.   Lots of whispering and pointing from the spectators. It earnt me the nickname ‘Moonshine’. I have since retired from competitive swimming.

Favourite place to eat in Leeds:

Fazenda at Granary Wharf: All you can eat meat?! Errr… YES PLEASE!!

Favourite place to drink in Leeds:

I love a cosy pub and Leeds has so many it’s hard to choose. The Roundhay Fox is perfect for a pit-stop after a walk round the park. I love the huge selection of ales at Kirkstall Bridge and the massive beer garden at The Original Oak is a must in the sun.

Favourite place to shop in Leeds:

Not a huge fan of shopping but I love the White Rose and am very excited for Victoria Gate opening. My wallet is scared though.
