It’s the UK’s largest Valentines Event, and back in Leeds for the Half Term holidays will be the famous Valentines Fun Fair from Friday 12th until Sunday 21st of February on the Elland Road Car Parks.

Bigger and better attractions are the promises from the organisers of this year’s Great Leeds Valentines Fair. And in the battle to beat the credit crunch all prices have again been reduced as one of Europe’s biggest travelling theme parks rolls back into Leeds this Friday, just in time for the half-term holidays.

Organisers International Fun Fairs and Leeds City Council in conjunction with 96.3 Radio Aire and the YEP are promising a fantastic array of theme park and traditional rides from all over Europe being assembled on the Elland Road car parks, adjoining Leeds United Football ground for 10 days.

Over a 150 rides and attractions will make up one of the largest events of its kind which include a Magic Mouse Spinning Rollercoaster, a Vertical Lift Rollercoaster, the giant Buzz Bom ride, and new from Holland the spectacular Devil Rock.

With white knuckle thrillers to wholesome family fun attractions which have been imported from all over Europe will make up the spectacle joining favourites such as the Equinox, SuperSpin, and Sea Storm. Together with Waltzers, Dodgems, and a mass of hi-tech white-knuckle attractions there is plenty to keep the more daring visitor’s happy, while over 50 children’s attractions will leave the younger visitors speechless.

The fair will commence on Friday 12th of February at 5.00pm with the official opening at 5.30pm, then opening Saturday 13th of February from 1pm until 10pm and right through until Sunday 21st of February.(except Tuesday 16th when the rides will be open from 1pm until 3.30pm only and on Sat 20th when rides will open at the later time of 6pm)

This year the fair will be enjoying its nineteenth year in Leeds and all children’s rides with the exception of Roller Coasters will be one pound at all times. Midweek 28 of the larger rides will be just £1.50 from 1pm until 6pm and by picking up your Yorkshire Evening Post or visiting www.leedsvalentinesfair.co.uk visitors can save an extra 50p on all the large rides, and with vouchers valid at all times larger rides midweek during the afternoon will also be just one pound.

Billed as the ultimate theme park experience, the Leeds Valentines Fair is huge, and without a doubt the UK’s biggest Valentines event.
