Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge - 26 Sep 2010

THE CASH FOR KIDS YORKSHIRE THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

Kindly supported by Foresters

SUNDAY, 26 SEPTEMBER 2010

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk is a very demanding but rewarding walk, which takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres - 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres - 2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (723 metres - 2,372 feet) all in one circular route of approximately 25 miles. Leaving early from the café at Horton-in-Ribblesdale, walkers have to complete the challenge in less than 12 hours, at which point you can become a member of the "Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club".

The Challenge will be lead by experienced instructors who will provide full safety support for the event, two water stops and insurance.

Transport - Challengers are responsible for their own travel to and from the starting point (which is at the car park café in Horton-in-Ribblesdale)

Here is everything you need to get started raising your sponsorship -

Cash for Kids Fundraising Pack

Sponsorship Form

JustGiving

Challengers can raise sponsorship using a traditional sponsorship form, but we really recommend all our challengers create a JustGiving page of their own and collecting online donations using this (JustGiving also collect GiftAid back on behalf of Cash for Kids which saves us administration time, and adds 28p to every pound donated to your page by UK tax payers).

Creating your Justgiving page only takes a few moments… simply go to

http://www.justgiving.com/radioairecashforkids/raisemoney

Click on Make Your Page. We have added the Cash for Kids Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge as an event, so you click that as the event you are taking part in - and then you can personalise your page and start fundraising!

If you have any queries at all about this event, or anything to do with Cash for Kids and getting your fundraising started, please call Caroline on 0113 283 5622.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE TRAINING AND SEE YOU FOR
