Sugababes Amelle Out of Leeds Gig

It is with much regret that the Sugababes have been forced to pull out of their 96.3 Radio Aire performance at Clarence Dock in Leeds this Sunday after is was revealed today that Amelle is suffering from exhaustion.
Heidi from the band apologised in a phone call this morning with JK& Joel @ Breakfast and blamed stress of recent events and exhaustion for Amelles’ absence, who is medically advised to take time away from the pressures of work. However, to show their commitment and appreciation to fans in Leeds, both Heidi and Jade will still visit Clarence Dock to meet listeners on Sunday.
After saying sorry to Leeds Heidi stressed to JK & Joel, "We don't take support for granted from our fans. We're not splitting up and we are so happy with the new line up".
The good news is that the party will still go on with a new line up of chart topping performers after 96.3 Radio Aire worked through the night to secure new acts.
Taio Cruz who held the UK Number One with ‘Break Your Heart’ will now headline the free concert. He will be supported by Gabriella Cilmi, famous for her top 5 hit ‘Sweet about Me’, as well as last year’s X Factor finalist Laura White.
96.3 Radio Aire's Station Director Anthony Gay said, "We're gutted that Sugababes won't be performing for Leeds this weekend but we've done our best at such short notice to make sure there's still a celebration for the city. We wish Amelle all the best for a speedy recovery and hope to see the full band back in Leeds soon".
Amelle will be staying at a private health clinic in Europe for the next 3 weeks where she will be able to rest and recuperate under expert supervision. She is expected to return to work in full health by the beginning of November.
The tickets for the free gig have all been snapped up with a handful remaining still to give away on 96.3 Radio Aire before Sunday.
